Imagine a lifetime of freedom from anti-perspirant, deodarant, and shaving. Permanently reduce underarm sweat, odor, and hair.
Did you know that as many as 37 million people in the US are bothered by excessive underarm sweat? miraDry is the first and only FDA-cleared solution clinically proven to permanently reduce underarm sweat, odor, and hair with as little as one treatment in one hour.
What is the miraDry treatment?
miraDry is a revolutionary non-surgical treatment that is FDA cleared and is clinically proven to permanently reduce underarm sweat, odor and hair – in just one hour.
How the miraDry works
Eccrine and apocrine glands in the axilla are responsible for creating sweat and odor. These glands, along with a high density of hair follicles, are found below the surface of the skin at the dermal-fat interface.
To achieve gland and follicle elimination, precise, concentrated, and focused microwave energy is delivered to the dermal-fat interface. Continuous hydroceramic cooling protects the dermis while heat spreads to the dermal-fat interface, eliminating the targeted glands and follicles.

Don’t I need underarm sweat glands?
While your body does need sweat glands to cool itself, your body contains 2 to 4 million sweat glands – only about 2% are found in your underarms. Eliminating this 2% of sweat glands does not affect your body’s ability to cool itself.
How does the treatment feel?
Since local anesthesia is administered prior to treatment, miraDry is typically pain-free. The is little to no downtime with the miraDry treatment. You may experience some localized soreness and swelling which typically clears within a few weeks.
What results can I expect?
You can expect immediate and lasting results. Once the miraDry treatment eliminates the sweat and odor glands, they are gone for good. The treatment is clinically proven to have an average of 83% sweat reduction, 89% odor reduction and 60% hair reduction. As with any aesthetic treatment, patient results and experiences may vary. Some patients request a second and third treatment.
